      About the project

Digital Biodesign is a joint project of Sechenov University, Russian Academy of Science Research Institute of Biomedical Chemistry named after V.N. Orehovich, RAS Institute of System Programming, RAS Institute of Design and Technological Informatics and Novgorod State University.

The platform elaborated will allow doctors from around the world to conduct scientific experiments and develop new methods of diagnosing and treating diseases, create “digital twins” of diseases will be created, which will be introduced into clinical practice and, due to the precise individual selection of therapy and drugs, will significantly increase the effectiveness of the fight against these severe diseases. That will save thousands of lives in the long run.

The main goal of the project is to develop a technological platform for the healthcare ecosystem based on the principles of health management through the creation of a “Digital Twin” of a patient, that will model the development of cardiological and oncological diseases, taking into account individual factors and characteristics of patients.
